For over 20 years Scott Sulkin has worked in the fitness and health industry. As a graduate of Hofstra University with a degree in the Health Sciences, Scott quickly realized that his extensive work in the University’s Athletic Training and Biology departments would be critical to his clients’ and patients’ success. After college, Scott became a Certified Personal Trainer through The National Strength Professionals Association and maintains his certification, while staying current on research and exercise techniques.
He began working in the Physical Therapy department of a top rated clinic associated with The National Rehabilitation Hospital in the Washington, DC area. This is where he gained experience working with patients recovering from joint repair and replacement to those managing Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease. Scott has also spent time working with kids ages 5-13 to provide occupational therapy and sensory integration testing and with physicians and specialists to build them training programs for pre and post-op patients.
Scott’s clientele is diverse, including youth as young as 5 years old to adults nearing their 90s. He works with those looking to get health and/or strong, lose weight or rehabilitate from injury or surgery. His success in designing his clients the most appropriate fitness program has earned him the reputation as one of the area’s top youth, family and rehabilitation trainers.
